Ethics Contact Officer Network (ECOnet)

The Australian Public Service Commission (APSC) hosts quarterly Ethics Contact Officer Network (ECOnet) meetings for APS staff who are work in Integrity and Ethics related roles.

ECOnet is an information sharing, intelligence gathering network of working level ethics officers (APS 6 - EL 2’S).  The purpose of the ECOnet is to:

  • provide a network forum for discussion of contemporary ethics and integrity issues.
  • share knowledge, experience, and best practice among agencies.
  • uplift and maintain capability for ethical decision-making and advice provision across the APS.
  • promote integrity maturity assessment and profile existing resources and solutions.
  • advise and support implementation of the Commission’s broader pro-integrity culture work.

APS 6 – EL 2
