They are better equipped to manage stress, make sound decisions, handle challenges and conflicts, and maintain positive relationships with colleagues. This can create a more positive work environment, improve overall morale and build a positive work culture.

Many agencies provide an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), offering confidential, short-term, and work-based counselling services. This service is available for employees, and in most cases immediate family members. To learn more about your agency’s EAP, check your agency’s intranet.
