APS Integrity Hypotheticals - Conflict of Interest
Integrity MasterCraft Series
The “APS Integrity Hypotheticals – Conflict of Interest” panel discussion was hosted by the Department of Industry, Science and Resources, and the APS Academy in November 2024.
The event recording sees three senior public service executives share the integrity spotlight, with each panellist reflecting on how they would address the ever evolving conflict of interest scenarios posed to them.
The discussion stemming from the scenarios highlights the grey (and not so grey) areas of decision making. Panel reflections cover what public servants should consider when confronted with similar situations, and how to approach decisions in general with integrity – with a key message being that the boundaries of conflicts of interest are rarely straight forward.
Join participants from over 90 APS agencies as you listen to the panel discussion, as well as the audience Q&A.
This learning experience has been provided by the Department of Industry, Science and Resources in partnership with the APS Academy.
