Sam Chard, PSM
Sam Chard, PSM, is Head of Division, Business Grants Hub at the Department of Industry, Science and Resources. Her role oversees the delivery of over $7 billion in government funding to over 83,000 businesses, and she is responsible for establishing improved integrity capability within the department. She is a Gateway Reviewer for the Department of Finance, a Disability Champion within her department, and a Senior Representative for the Territories Stolen Generation Redress Scheme. Prior to her current role, Sam established and led the Australian Radioactive Waste Agency, for which she was awarded a public service medal. She has over 10 years SES experience in policy and program areas, spanning criminal intelligence, national security and critical infrastructure risk management.
