Inclusive Learning Design Handbook
The FLOE Inclusive Learning Design Handbook (ILDH) is a free Open Educational Resource (OER) designed to assist in creating adaptable and personalised educational resources that can accommodate a diversity of learning preferences and individual needs.
The handbook is intended for anyone making, revising, re-purposing or reusing open education resources (OER) or other forms of digital curriculum.
The handbook offers information and guidance whether you are creating simple text-based resources, animations, applets, simulations or full production videos.
It includes information on:
- Perspectives: brings together diverse perspectives to discuss critical topics related to inclusive learning and the future of education.
- Approaches: introduces ways to create more inclusive and accessible learning resources and environments.
- Techniques: introduces tools and environments that help authors create more inclusive content, and provides a list of checkers and tools that can assist authors to evaluate the accessibility of content.
