The APS Centre of Excellence for Workforce Planning supports building and deploying strategic workforce planning capability within the APS.
The Workforce Planning Start Up Program offered through the APS Academy provides foundational information and resources to begin your APS Workforce Planning career. The program focuses on building foundational strategic workforce planning capability across the APS.
If you’ve got a grasp of the foundations of workforce planning, the Workforce Planning Boost Program modules provide more advanced technical information and resources to progress your APS Workforce Planning career.

In partnership with the University of New South Wales (UNSW) Canberra, APS workforce planning practitioners that have attended and completed relevant course work from the Workforce Planning Start up Program and/or select Workforce Planning Boost modules are eligible for recognition of prior learning (RPL) credit that will contribute to UNSW Graduate Certificate in Workforce Planning.
