APS Career Pathfinder is an online application that lets you understand which digital and data roles you could do, what they require, what they are like to do and shows you how to upskill efficiently. Simplified signing in
If you are logging in from an agency that uses VANguard single sign-on services, you no longer need to enter your username and password. After you select Log in, click on ‘Australian Government employee’. You can then select your agency name and you will be logged in with your own agency email address.
You can also use the APS Career Pathfinder with a private email address and password by selecting ‘Other user’ to login.
APS Profession filters
You can now also filter to show roles related to a specific APS Profession. See HR roles, Digital roles and Data roles.

Private agency-specific roles, training and learning
We’ve also added partitioning. Partitioning provides APS agencies with their own private view (partition) of APS Career Pathfinder. In this partition, they can set up agency-specific frameworks and roles that may not be relevant to others. Agencies can also conduct talent searches and extract data relating to their own agency workforce.
