Regulatory Practice Essentials Program
The Regulatory Practice Essentials program builds foundational capability for officers performing a regulatory role regardless of classification level. The program supports best practice in regulation and focuses on an officer’s ability to exercise judgement and discretion in making defensible and systematic regulatory decisions. Participants will gain a sense of identity and commitment to the role of a regulator.
The program is made up of a component of self-paced e-learning and four days facilitator-led virtual learning. The facilitated learning sessions allows learners to develop knowledge in and explore concepts of essential regulatory practices. Learners will be immersed in real scenarios and examples and have access to regulatory experts to facilitate learning through exploration, discussion and collaborative activities.

Considerations
- Participants should complete the eLearning module: 'Introduction to Regulation' prior to attending day one (expect to take between 3 - 5 hours to complete this module).
- Learners must attend all sessions or make alternative arrangements with the APSC to progress through the rest of the program.
