Foundations of Net Zero in Government Operations
Foundations of Net Zero in Government Operations has been designed for participants who have a role or interest in implementation of the Net Zero in Government Operations (NZGO) Strategy.
This course covers a foundational understanding of climate science topics, detailing the mechanisms and consequences of climate change, and the significance of Global Warming Potential and Carbon Dioxide Equivalent values.
The course will also cover the significance of, and the requirements set out in the NZGO Strategy, which will assist in the implementation of the NZGO Strategy actions and targets.
This training course is the first in a series of training courses linked to the NZGO Strategy and its content is central to understanding the content in upcoming courses. It is therefore recommended that Foundations of Net Zero in Government Operations is completed prior to the completion of further Net Zero courses.
