EL2 Leadership Program
The EL2 Leadership Program supports leaders to move beyond their technical expertise and develop essential management and leadership capabilities. EL2 Leaders will develop the mindset, capabilities and competencies required to lead others through the challenge of complex environment, through change, and towards the achievement of ambitious objectives to foster a culture that steps boldly into the future.

Participant benefits
- The program provides participants with the latest insights into effective leadership practices.
- It uses a mixture of self-paced learning, peer discussion, assessments, and coaching sessions to explore participants own leadership practices in relation to leading self, leading others and leading across the APS.
- A component of the program involves undertaking the Whole Brain ® Thinking profiling (HBDI) process to better understand participants individual thinking preferences. (optional)
- During the program participants will be introduced to new ways of leveraging the power of Cognitive Diversity to achieve high performance in teams.
- Participants are allocated 3 group coaching sessions.

This program aligns with the Leadership and Management Craft at the Practitioner level.
Considerations
The program has a large time commitment. It is delivered virtually over 12 weeks and consists of 9 modules, 3 coaching sessions, one introduction session and an optional psychometric assessment session (using the HBDI Whole Brain Model tool). To ensure full completion of the program, you are required to attend all sessions and complete two assignments.
The program is a micro-credentialed certification delivered by University of New South Wales:
- Each participant who successfully completes the micro-credentialled program will be awarded a digital badge upon completion.
- The digital badge certifies that you have demonstrated proficiency against the courses’ learning outcomes.
- Completion of the program allows participants to accrue 4 points towards a Certificate in Executive Management & Development (requires completion of additional study/micro-credentials).
