MasterCraft Series - Mentoring and Coaching - does the difference matter?
In this MasterCraft event Ross clarifies the ways mentoring is different to coaching. As a professional coach with the APS Academy and Graduate Development Program, he invites us to go beyond mentoring and coaching a task or particular problem to building the recipient’s agency and capability. When we support and enhance a person’s agency (ability to act and make decisions) we build their capability and responsibility to drive solutions and innovation in our complex, rapidly changing workplaces. Finally, Ross will challenge and share some insights into being self-aware so that we provide greater service and value to the recipient and ourself.
