Contract Management in Practice - March
This course includes management of the resulting contract to deliver value for money outcomes. This course includes contract start up, ongoing management, and contract closure through to disposals consistent with the project’s governance and assurance requirements. In this course, participants will use case studies and scenario-based simulations to make relevant decisions and judgements to effectively manage a contract.

- Benefits realisation – ensuring identified benefits agreed in the contract are delivered.
- Performance management – monitor contractors to maintain and deliver value.
- Extending and varying the contract to consider changing business requirements and identifying options for increased value.
- Supplier relationship management and dispute resolution practices to achieve agreed performance outcomes.
- Managing critical periods during the contract, including ramping up (surge), closing, and transitioning contractors.
- Managing disposal of goods consistent with the procurement strategy.
